About the Issuer

ICL Fincorp Limited, headquartered in Thrissur, Kerala, was incorporated in 1991 and acquired by its current promoters in 2004. Following the acquisition, the company expanded its lending operations from consumer durable financing to gold loans in 2013 and has since diversified its portfolio to include business (MSME) loans, personal loans, loans against property, and two-wheeler loans, with gold loans remaining its primary business. The company further strengthened its presence in the gold loan segment through the acquisition of Salem Erode Investments Limited (SEIL), a BSE-listed NBFC, in 2020. ICL Fincorp currently holds a 75% stake in SEIL, while the promoter group also has interests in allied businesses such as chit funds and tours and travel through separate entities.
