About the Issuer

Neogen Chemicals Limited (NCL) was incorporated in 1989, promoted by Haridas Kanani. The company manufactures bromine and lithium-based organic and organo-metallic compounds used in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and engineering industries, with manufacturing facilities located at Mahape in Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra), Vadodara (Gujarat), Dahej SEZ (Gujarat), Patancheru (Telangana), and Pakhajan (Gujarat). NCL completed its IPO in May 2019 and is listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange. Neogen Ionics Limited (NIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NCL, undertaking greenfield capex to manufacture electrolyte and salt. Neogen Chemicals Japan Co. Ltd (NCJCL), established on July 30, 2024, is also a wholly owned subsidiary of NCL, set up to expand the group's presence in the Japanese market. Dhara Fine Chem Industries is a partnership entity engaged in the manufacture, supply, and export of various chemicals, with a specialization in lithium and brominated compounds. Separately, NIL is in advanced discussions with Morita Chemical Industries Co. Ltd of Japan to form a joint venture company in India, and is in the process of setting up a wholly owned subsidiary to facilitate this arrangement.
